-Places We Visited-
Sat – UCLA vs CAL Women’s Swim Meet – I have been to about 4 swim meets and this was the most exciting. #7 UCLA vs #3 CAL. Came down to the last relay, which Cal edged out by a half second.
Sun – Malibu Marmalade Cafe – Sat next to Michael Clarke Duncan who is really large and seemed very friendly.

-Movies Watched-
Attempted to see our first movie in a theater with charlotte which leads to todays golden rule. If a baby is not sleeping when you buy your movie tickets, don’t even try it. The first 15 minutes of Good Night and Good Luck Seemed Interesting.

A good indie combo about the teenage condition is Thumbsucker and The Chumscrubber

-Restaurants We Checked Out-
Black Board Bistro in Seal Beach. Nice family restaurant. Good prices.

Marmalade Cafe Malibu So busy it was sort of numbing

-TV Watched-
UCLA vs Oregon State BBall
Lakers Stinking it up against Detroit
T-Woods last few holes winning at Torrey Pines

-Interesting Tidbits-
Got a Midi keyboard. It is so much fun playing with it and Garage Band. I am Rocking

i’m lame, went to visit my parents for the weekend and my Grandpa was released from the hospital so we hung out and had some mighty-fine In’n'Out to boot.

topped it off with Some North Woods Inn last night with mom and dad + val and watched a little family guy & american dad before bed. hopefully nextweekend will be a little more blog-worthy.

oh, and watched office space with my dad. He loved it. He said he had the sudden urge to wear some extra “flare” over the weekend.

Dude – Thumbsucker and The Chumscrubber in the same weekend? You are the indie KING!

We need some reviews here. I’ve heard of both and wasn’t brave enough to check ‘em out. Worth watching?

I watched: Family Guy Presents: Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind – not quite as exciting, or daring I should write. Eternal Sunshine was definitely unique, however somewhat predictable. Family Guy was just an extended version of the TV show in my opinion; amusing, but not as good as The Simpsons or even King Of the Hill for that matter.

Actually, watched Chumscrubber the previous weekend but they seemed to compliment each other very well. I am always hesitant to give out reviews as I think I proclaim them great you will probably be dissapointed. Both had really good young acting and were very watchable. I would give them both thumbs up and can honestly recommend them. Pretty good movies that females and males would enjoy. That is my 2 cents.
