So I’ve fallen off the (LA) Angels wagon and landed right back into the Lakers Band-Wagon just in time to enjoy the remainder of the NBA playoffs. I know, typical So Cal, fair-weather fan! I haven’t abandoned my life-long love for the OC based Halos, but let’s face it; the Lakers are playing some incredible basketball for the first time in a couple of years. (And my wife only allows me to watch one sport at-a-time).

Can you say KO-BEE! So he was semi-responsible for Phil Jackson going into retirement for a year (again) - it had nothing to do with the million gap in Phil’s contract negotiations, really. And he all but purchased SHAQ’s plane ticket to send him to Miami, I’m not gonna mention the other thing that cost him 5Mil. But man, he is starting to look like the player who brought my attention to the Lakers nine years ago. It’s been nine years already since Kobe came into the league?

Anyway, the Clippers have already sent Denver home and are waiting for the Lakers to rise to the occasion. Lakers - Clippers in the second-round match up for the first time in history. Heck - it’s the first time the Clips have made it to second round ever! So which team is home again?

GO LAKERS (at least I didn’t jump on the ‘Hip to Clip’ wagon)! And my .500 Halos will have to wait for my attention for now.
