Robert Penner is joining the Flash team.

I must admit that this is pretty interesting news. At JLOOP we use his easing equations all the time. Actually not sure what we would do without them.

But what is with “it will be one of the most exciting new features in the history of Flash”????  What kind of lead-on is that? Are they bringing back the TellTarget?

OK, so I’m a TiVo hawk around here, but there are lots of reasons why it is not only the best DVR, but also one of the most forward-thinking technology providers out there.

TiVo to offer more net downloads.

I already am a subscriber to Rocketboom on my TiVo, but now it looks like I can get a lot more internet delivery of video content. The key here is that it appears inline with my recorded television shows. Yet another blurring of the lines. My kids are growing up thinking that to watch television means to look through a menu of programs to watch on demand…. not on the broadcasters schedules. That does and will make a difference for the future of video broadcasting.
