New VW site from CPB
jay @ 10:41 am — Filed under: I think Crispin Porter and Bogusky have got to be one of the best agencies out there for thinking through intuitive, exciting, emotional, and on-target online experiences. The new VW site is pretty brilliant in its simplicity - to take all that info that a car site has to have and compress it down to a really simple nav is a Herculean effort.

It really is a cool site, groundbreaking even. You’re right that the navigation is simple and convenient, while at same time the content itself that you can access is seriously sophisticated - how you can build your own car, actually install accessories and change colors and interiors, and even crash the car when you’re done! Amazing. I think they’ve taken flash and the interactive visual experience in general to a new level.
